An emphasis on a renewable and substainable development was key to the choice of all building materials used on the new regional agricultural centre for the Great Yorkshire Showground.
Solar control glass and Herdwick wool carpets were used within the building and Harrogate based contractor Houseman and Falshaw awarded Endon Roofing Limited the package to build a warm roof construction and an extensive sedum roof to complement this theme.
Yorkshire based Endon Roofing, worked in partnership with Green Roofs Naturally on the sedum roof. To conform to the architects P and HS' instructions, mineral wool insulation and a single ply membrane was installed prior to the installation of a sedum roof above the farm shop and cafe.
We were delighted to be involved this showcase development at the centre of Yorkshire's agricultural community.
